Built differently.

Every decision had a reason.

Most IV hoodies start with a standard blank and add a zipper. We started with a cold infusion room and worked backward.

01

You stay warm. The whole time. Even when they need your arm.

Infusion rooms are cold. You're in that chair for hours. This keeps you warm from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out - including every time they need your arm. You never had to stop. You never had to uncover. You never had to choose.

02

Your nurse opens the zipper. You don't move.

Both inner-arm zippers. Whichever side they need. They open it. They do what they need to do. They close it. You stayed exactly where you were. Didn't move. Didn't have to.

03

It looks like a hoodie. That's the whole idea.

No medical aesthetic. No clinical branding. Nothing that announces why you're there. The zippers sit on the inside of each arm. From across the room, you look like someone who just put on their hoodie. Because that's what you are.

04

Built for skin that's been through something.

Treatment changes how your body feels. Skin gets more sensitive. Hours in a chair means everything touching you matters more than it usually does. This is the one that doesn't add to what you're already dealing with.

05

Built by someone who was in the chair.

Amanda built this in 2022 after her own hospitalization. Sitting in a gown in a cold room, frustrated by what didn't exist. She built what she needed. Everything since has come from that.

Your nurse notices.
Nobody else does.

Treatment day

Stay warm. Stay covered.
Walk out the same person.

Treatment rooms are cold. Nurses need access. Regular clothes weren't made for either.

Any other hoodie What happens

Roll your sleeve up. Your arm is cold. You've got hours left.

Every time they need access, you stop and undress. In a cold room. In front of people.

You look down at yourself. You look like someone going through something.

You wanted today to feel normal. The clothes made that harder.

Nothing you own was built for this. You just get through it.

BeWell IV Zip Hoodie What happens instead

They unzip the arm. Three seconds. You don't move. You stay covered.

Both arms have access. They take what they need. You just sit.

You look down at yourself. You look like yourself.

You walk out the same person who walked in.

“My nurse thought it was brilliant and made their work SO much easier.” — Tanner M., verified buyer

For the people who love them

Treatment days are long,
cold, and hard.
Flowers die.
Food goes untouched.
But the right hoodie?
They'll reach for it
every single time.

I kept sending things, hoping something would help. Nothing felt right until this. She called me the day of her infusion just to say it was perfect.

FAQs

Can men fit in these?

Yes! They are designed to be unisex, so they work well for both men and women. The fit is comfortable without being too fitted or too oversized, making them versatile for anyone. We recommend checking the size chart to ensure the best fit for your body type.

What makes the IV Zip Hoodie different from a regular hoodie?

The IV Zip Hoodie is designed with discreet zippers on both sleeves for easy IV or PICC line access during treatment or blood draws — no need to roll up sleeves or remove layers.

Why choose this over a regular hoodie or zip-up?

Regular hoodies require rolling up sleeves or removing layers, which can be uncomfortable and time-consuming during treatment. Our IV Zip Hoodie solves that with hidden zippers and thoughtful design while looking just as stylish.

What kind of medical access does it provide?

It includes hidden zippers along the arms, making it simple for nurses to access your IV sites, PICC lines, or draw blood without sacrficing comfort or dignity.

Why do customers love it?

Because it combines comfort, warmth, and function. No more struggling with layers or feeling exposed during treatment — just easy access and cozy vibes.

Is it only for infusion days?

Not at all! Customers love wearing it at home, to appointments, or even for errands. It looks like a stylish hoodie, so no one knows it’s designed for medical access.

Does it look like medical clothing?

Not at all! The IV Quarter Zip has a sleek, athletic design that looks like your favorite activewear — no one will know it was made for infusion access unless you tell them.

What fabric is it made from?

Our IV Zip Hoodie is crafted from a premium, mid-weight blend that’s soft on the inside and smooth on the outside — warm enough for infusion rooms, but breathable for all-day comfort.

Is this item MRI or CT scan safe?

No. This garment contains metal hardware and should be removed before entering an MRI or CT scan environment. If you need a scan-safe option, the IV Scan Hoodie is designed specifically for that - metal-free Velcro openings, same infusion access.

36,450+ Happy Customers

Specialized hoodie designed for medical treatments with arm zippers for IV access. Customers praised its soft, comfortable fabric and warmth during infusions. "Like a hug in a sweatshirt," one said. Healthcare providers loved the easy access. Some noted zippers could be improved, and sizing may run large. A few mentioned higher price point, though most felt quality justified cost.

Absolute Comfort

2 Hoodies and a Crewneck now makes 3! I needed something where I did not need to remove my clothing. I love the clothing product for comfort and durability. The nurses I encounter are amazed and very complimenting on the wearable. Now I am just waiting on a long-sleeved shirt for the summer. 😁

IV Zip Hoodie and IV Quarter Zip

I purchased the IV Zip Hoodie in size L (soft plum) and the IV Quarter Zip in size M (athletic purple). I'm 5'7" and around 140 lbs, and I generally prefer looser clothing. However, I recommend sticking with your usual size—sizing up makes it harder to zip and unzip the sleeves for IV access during infusions.

First of all, I’m genuinely grateful that there are people creating adaptive clothing like this. For those of us with chronic illnesses who undergo frequent infusions, having practical and thoughtfully designed options really does make a difference.

Functionally, the designs are very practical, and I’ve received a lot of compliments from nurses. I love the colors and the convenience of not having to fully remove my arm from my sweater and sit half-dressed during treatment. I would definitely love to see more variations offered.

As for quality, the fabric is soft and the zippers work well, but I’ve already noticed some threading coming loose on the IV Zip Hoodie. I’ve worn each item twice and haven’t put them in the wash yet, so this was disappointing. Given the functionality and the overall quality, I do think the price is a bit high—at this price point, I expected more durable construction. If I had to describe the clothing in a few words, I’d say it’s comparable to Old Navy, just adapted with IV-access zippers.

Overall, if you have frequent infusions, having a couple of adaptive pieces like this is very convenient. I don’t regret my purchase and I wear during most of my infusion days, but I hope to see improvements in durability in the future. As chronic illness warriors, we already face significant medical costs, so adding higher-priced adaptive clothing into the mix can be a real dilemma. I’ve done my best to give an honest description, so whether the practicality justifies the cost will depend on what matters most to you.

So cozy! Perfect!

Wore my birthday gift today - my BeWell (weekly) Infusion Hoodie! Perfect fit. Well made, easy to use, very comfy and cozy. I didn't even need a blanket, and I'm usually buried inside a nest of blankets and pillows. What a game changer!
Sizing is generous: 5'7"/150lbs = medium with plenty of extra room.
Would love several in a variety of colors.

I love my BeWell sweatshirt!

I recently received my sweatshirt and I’m really impressed. The material is warm, soft, and high quality. The zippers are sturdy and made to last. I’ve been going to my infusions for almost two years and I wish I had this sooner. It is true to size, I wear a medium and the medium fits great. If you like your sweatshirts extra roomy, I would size up one size. Medium is great for me though.

Comfort and Functionality Meets Style!

I found out about this product after my first two infusions and only wish I knew about it sooner! Instead of messing with a sweater and bulky blanket I was able to easily provide access to the port and be much more comfortable during the five hours. I was able to move around easily. I am extremely immunocompromised and immunosuppressed so I get blood draws monthly and plan to use them then too. I’m also in PT and OT - it gets cold there so I’ve started using my hoodie there too, it’s much more comfortable and I love seeing the “Be Well” messaging on my wrist. It’s like a boost of confidence I need in that moment!

Making the uncomfortable, comfortable.

I’m so grateful for companies started by people that GET IT. These products are truly comforting in many ways. Specifically keeping the patient covered while allowing medical access, but also providing a hug in a sense. Knowing these things were made to bring us together is really empowering. Great customer service and responsiveness as well! 5 stars all around!

Amazing!

I just had my first infusion this week. This hoodie was awesome!! Get too hot? Throw your arms out. Ha. Get cold? Zip yourself up! The oversized hood is great bc it covers your eyes for a nap! They run a tad small, but the material is stretchy so it's not uncomfortable. So glad I stumbled upon these when diagnosed.

Amazing!

This hoodie is honestly the answer to my problems! The access zippers on the sides made my infusion process easier and smoother for my nurses and me. I require blood pressure checks throughout and it was so convenient to get in and out. Love it so much, and so did the nurses. Also it shipped lightning fast!

Ignore my size discrepancies, I ordered large for extra comfort.

Very nice

I am going to use my new sweatshirt for dialysis. I have a fistula in my upper right arm and I am able to keep my sweatshirt on while I’m running on the machine. The material is so soft and the color is perfect.
