Is this the same as the original IV Quarter Zip?
No. This is a fully upgraded version. We rebuilt the size chart from scratch with unisex sizing, upgraded to a more premium fabric, and added hidden side pockets. If you ordered the original and had sizing issues, this version was made in direct response to that feedback.
How does the new sizing compare to the original?
The size chart was completely rebuilt. It is now unisex and runs differently than the original - do not assume your previous size carries over. Check the size chart before ordering, and if you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit during treatment.
What makes the IV Quarter Zip different from a regular top?
Two hidden zippers run along both sleeves for fast, discreet IV and PICC line access. Your nurse gets in without you removing a layer. You stay covered, warm, and comfortable the entire time.
What is new about the pockets?
The original had no side pockets. This version has two hidden side pockets sewn into the seams. Deep enough for your phone, your lip balm, your keys - whatever you need within reach during a long treatment day.
Is it only for infusion days?
Not at all. The quarter-zip design and athletic cut work just as well for errands, appointments, or a regular day. Nobody knows it was made for IV access unless you tell them.
Is this item MRI or CT scan safe?
No. This garment contains metal hardware and should be removed before entering an MRI or CT scan environment. If you need a scan-safe option, the IV Scan Hoodie is designed specifically for that - metal-free Velcro openings, same infusion access.
