“It is just right for the spring and summer - warm outside, but cool inside during my infusion.”

Warm outside. Cold infusion room. This was made for that gap.
You can't wear the heavier hoodie through the parking lot in summer. But you need coverage inside. Bamboo is light enough to walk in wearing, warm enough for the AC - without overheating.
Same arm access. A fabric that breathes with you.
Hidden arm zippers on both sleeves, in moisture-wicking bamboo. Patients use it for blood draws, allergy shots, infusions, and cancer treatments. The access works. The fabric just doesn't fight you for it.
Soft like silk. Practically not there.
Bamboo feels different from cotton - lighter, smoother. The arm zippers are in the same place. What changes is how little you're aware of wearing it.

FAQs
What makes the Bamboo IV Zip Hoodie different from the regular IV Zip Hoodie?
It’s designed with the same discreet IV access you love but in a premium bamboo viscose fabric that’s lighter, softer, and more breathable — perfect for warmer days or if you tend to overheat during infusions.
What kind of medical access does it provide?
The hoodie features hidden zippers along both arms for easy IV or PICC line access during treatment — no need to remove layers or roll up sleeves.
Is it good for summer or warmer infusion rooms?
Yes! The bamboo fabric is naturally breathable and moisture-wicking, helping you stay cool and comfortable even in warm environments.
Does it stretch for comfort?
Absolutely. The 4-way stretch design moves with you, providing flexibility whether you’re in the infusion chair or on the go.
Why do customers love it?
They love the combination of discreet medical access and lightweight comfort. It’s a game-changer for infusion days — functional, stylish, and cooling when you need it most.
Why choose this over a regular hoodie?
Regular hoodies can feel heavy and hot, and they don’t offer medical access. This hoodie solves those problems with lightweight fabric, hidden zippers, and a design that feels like activewear.
Does it look like medical clothing?
Not at all! It looks like a stylish zip hoodie — no one will know it was made for infusion access unless you tell them.
Is this item MRI or CT scan safe?
No. This garment contains metal hardware and should be removed before entering an MRI or CT scan environment. If you need a scan-safe option, the IV Scan Hoodie is designed specifically for that - metal-free Velcro openings, same infusion access.
42,626+ Happy Customers
Customers praised this lightweight, soft bamboo hoodie designed for infusions and medical treatments. "The fabric is SO soft" and "perfect for feeling covered but not overheated." Nurses love the convenient arm zippers for IV access. However, some noted sizing runs large, material is thinner than expected, and zippers can be stiff or uncomfortable. A few felt it was too expensive or lacked masculine color options.

I have just worn this to my second day of infusions and wish it wasn’t such a waste of my limited resources. It is lightweight but not breathable. The zipper design is terrible bc the zipper does not bend with the material of the jacket and pokes my arm and deforms so it doesn’t look like a normal jacket and is too extremely uncomfortable. I have need up taking it off today. It feels like they released it too early in design process to get to market before the end of the year/summer. I have one of the original which was too hot but well made. Ms neat intolerance made me excited for this purchase. I wish I could return for refund. Hopefully this review provides insight.
We’re so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your hoodie experience — we always want infusion days to feel easier, not harder. We do wish you had reached out to our customer care team before posting this review, as we’re always happy to troubleshoot, exchange, or work toward a solution together.
Just to clarify for others reading: our size guide includes exact measurements and notes that the fit can run large. For many, if they normally wear a Large, a Medium works better to ensure the sleeves fit more snugly for easier zipper access. This is due to unisex sizing. The bamboo and regular hoodie are made from the same size charts.
Regarding your feedback on the zipper: this hoodie uses an invisible zipper, which is the most delicate option available. Because the fabric is soft and subtle (unlike stiff cottons), it won’t hold a zipper in the same rigid way heavier fabrics can. That said, we take all feedback seriously and would love to better understand your experience — was the discomfort due to sleeve fit, zipper function, or the way it sat during your infusion? This insight would truly help us continue improving our designs.
We haven’t received other reports of this issue, but we’re committed to listening and evolving. We deeply appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and we hope you’ll consider reaching out directly in the future so we can help turn a difficult experience into a supportive one.
It is very nice. I’m a bit surprised at the weight of the material. I thought it was heavier. But I think it will work hopefully based on where they placed the port in surgery.
One of the BEST purchases I’ve made. The Bamboo is perfect.
Super soft. I did have to order a size up to ensure a good fit.
Would like to know how to exchange for a smaller size
Loved it, so did my nurse when she was using my pic line to draw labs, next time though I will purchase XS
Quality, structure, weight (feels like it’s hugging you- but not tight), ease of use. The nurses at the chemotherapy floor love it as well.
what a great invention! I have to start getting regular infusions and I am so glad to have found this. The fabric is super soft. I will be recommending BeWell to everyone in my infusion center!!
I don’t like the fact that it cost so much and its so thin and the zippers don’t slide easy
We’re sorry to hear the Bamboo Hoodie wasn’t what you were expecting. We did not hear from you to help with an exchange.
This style was designed intentionally as a lightweight, breathable option, which is noted on the product page and is the primary reason many customers choose it, especially for warmer environments or during treatment when heavier fabrics can feel uncomfortable.
In terms of pricing, the Bamboo Hoodie is made from premium bamboo fabric, which is a higher-cost material, and it’s constructed with the same design and functionality as our other hoodies. Because of that, it’s priced consistently across the collection.
We understand preferences can vary, but this product is performing exactly as it was designed and described at the time of purchase.
If you’re looking for something with more structure or weight, we’re always happy to help guide you toward a better fit for your needs.
It is always cold in the two different infusion facilities I utilize. I used the IV zip hoodie for the first time and it was wonderful. Just received the bamboo hoodie to start using as the weather warms up.
Bamboo IV Zip Hoodie
I got this for my mom. This is the third time we have had to switch chemo and this time I just wanted it to feel better for her. More fun. Instead of blah. And this jacket did just that! All of the nurses were loving it and complimenting her and loved the convenience of it too! It’s worth the money.
Very lightweight and breathable which is great. Also the sizing was actually big on me. Very very comfortable. I had my infusion last week and wish i had gotten it then.
Bamboo IV Zip Hoodie
This is great for my weekly chemo appointments
This is definitely not for guys had several people ask why I was wearing my wife’s jacket . Color choices are not for guys , zipper configuration is female centric. It’s like men don’t do dialysis or infusion and get hella cold too?
This shirt is so convenient for getting the infusion. I can stay warm and comfortable during the process.
This is so unbelievable. Really comfortably and great for my infusions.
I love the Bamboo Hoodie. It is just right for the spring/summer when it is warm outside but cool inside while i am having my infusion.
Love this hoodie its soft like silk & arm zippers are awesome for bloodwork, allergy shots, & cancer treatments
pretty hot pink color, material not as heavy as it looks in the pictures, love the access too iv/ infusion site. i will find out more when I've has a chance to wear it.
The fabric is SO soft and I love the color!!
Returned it for a smaller size. Hopefully it will be here soon.
